- Abstract: RNA-seq libraries were prepared from biological duplicates of polysome fractions of cyclohexamide-treated C2C12 myoblasts and myotubes. Raw reads were used for the circular RNA analysis using CIRCexplorer2. Thousands of putative translatable polysome-associated circRNAs were identified in C2C12 myoblasts and myotubes. The functional characterization of the protein-coding muscle circRNAs revealed the importance of circRNA-encoded peptides in myogenesis.
