- Abstract: CASC19 is found to be a oncogenic lncRNA in pancreatic cancer that potentiates several cancer hallmarks such as cell proliferation, cell cycle progression, wound healing ability of cell, invasion and metastatic potential of pancreatic cancer cell. Being a nuclear lncRNA, it might have a role in regulating the transcriptome of pancreatic cancer cell line. Thus we overexpress and knockdown CASC19 in pancreatic cancer cell MIAPaCa-2 and did RNA-sequencing of the total RNA isolated from the above samples.
